simple product design
From this week we have new course which name is SPD (simple product design).
its beginning of the product designer life because in this we have to discover or innovate new product in new form and more function.
so on the 1st week we have to find the product in which problem is there or total new concept which can solve some problem. so every day morning we have to come with some product and my class have discussion on that product. and its quite difficult to get idea for new invention and if you get that idea then also there is problem to take that idea in this course because this name it self is "simple product design" so we have to search simple problem related to product and that thing quite difficult to get.....
so finally on second week starting i get some idea like "paint brush" for my simple product design.
in that i was thinking lets make universal paint brush which fits all paint brush like....
normally we have 8 different type of paint brush but normal people or students (me also) are know only 2-3 types of paint brush.
but its quit difficult to make this kind of shape in one brush.
so i went to market and asked the people which paint brush you normally used in your life?
i got fist 2(round and flat) brushes are the most selling or buying brushes in the market.
so finally i start my work on that 2 brush at that time....
after that again we have discussion on this thing and i got feed back like "why are u working on this artist brush only? think wild and merge industrial brush also. "
so again i started my work on industrial brush which universal size in one....
now i get some industrial paint brush and worked on it.
so normally there are main 5 types of variation available in industrial paint brush.
and explored view of that 4"(100mm) paint brush.
so after breaking that brush which cost around 100 bugs. i got idea that how they are fixing that bristle to main handle and for more detail i am putting a video which give u clear idea.
